Emery welcomed the new ownership and hopes this move will give stability to the club something which has lacked in recent years.
"We want stability" he said. "But the most important thing is that we are able to create a team that makes the fans happy and that helps the club resolve their financial issues."
Soriano takes over a club who suffered problems both on and off the field last term.
