Assault man beaten with hammers
Assault man beaten with hammers
 A 21-year-old man has been taken to hospital following an assault in the Rathcoole Estate in Newtownabbey. It is understood that the man was attacked by up to 10 men  some of whom were armed with hammers. A PSNI spokesperson said the attack took place at the back of houses in Dunloy Gardens at 2120 BST on Tuesday. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police have asked for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch. |
