US actress Uma Thurman is being sued in New York by French cosmetics firm Lancome over the use of her name and face in advertising campaigns.
The company said it did not violate its contract with her and she is not entitled to the $1 million (£510

000) she has demanded.

The French firm has filed papers in Manhattan's state Supreme Court.

and $1 million doesn't begin to do it." Earlier this week

37-year-old Jack Jordan was convicted of stalking and harassing the actress. He faces up to a year in jail.
