Man, 72, held after woman's death
 The house where locals said there had been a large police presenceA 72-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman, 74, in the hamlet of Badnaban, Lochinver, in the north west Highlands. Northern Constabulary said its officers' inquiries were ongoing at this stage. The force said the man was expected to appear in Tain Sheriff Court on Friday. Local people reported a large police presence at a property since Wednesday evening. Police released no further details.
