Swedish committee visits Parliament
A Swedish parliamentary committee headed by parliamentarian Liselott Hagberg met with Turaaa's EU Integration Committee Chairman Yaşar Yakış yesterday. Hagberg said this visit showed the close ties between the two nations and provided an opportunity for Sweden to share its own experiences while becoming an EU member in 1995

Yunus Emre Olympiad being held in Eskisehir The first annual Yunus Emre Invitational for Love and Peace International Project Olympiad (YUNEPO) will be held in Eskişehir from May 2-4. Coordinator of Eskisehir Samanyolu Educational Institute Feyzullah Gülbent said the Olympiad was created to foster world peace and will be in three categories: Area study Web design and poetry reading. To date 3100 students from 35 nations have applied. ESKİŞEHİR – Anatolia News Agency
